With a Bachelor of Journalism degree – yes, that’s how it’s designated – from the University of Missouri, I spent my life writing for others. These included newspapers (Sacramento Bee, San Francisco Chronicle, The Morning Call/The Record of New Jersey, others), academia (Montclair State University, others) and a variety of public relations clients, most recently through Nieder & Nieder Associates in New Jersey. A move across country to Los Angeles presented – finally – an opportunity to write for myself.

The Gravatar I use in connection with this website is a storyteller figure by Dorothy Trujillo of the Cochiti Pueblo north of Albuquerque. I selected this image because I am a fan of Native American art and I like to tell stories.
